The Concord Music Association was established to support the music department by raising money to help pay for many of the expenses that are not covered by the student fees or budgeted in the high school annual budget. In addition to raising funds to support the program, CMA organizes various volunteer groups which help promote success in the music program. Anyone can be a member of the CMA through financial contributions, volunteering of time, talents, or both!
Financial Support
The CMA raises funds for the band through advertising and sponsorships that appear in all programs that are sold or handed out ay invitationals, district marching competition and at school concerts. We also raise money by selling concessions at the Concord Invitational and at the basketball games over the winter months.
Volunteering
The CMA is a totally volunteer driven organization that works with the Concord Music Department. Without the assistance of volunteers, the band would not have the chance to reach the level of success it has and hopes to continue to attain, as well as perform and travel to many exciting places. Opportunities to volunteer begin in August for every level of talent and time committment.
