Prerequisite: Marching Band (required of all 1st year members), or Instrumental Ensemble Class or Independent Study.
Course Description: Through an audition process, students are placed into an appropriate ensmble based on skill level. Instruction is designed so that students are enabled to connect, examine, imagine, define, try, extend, refine, and integrate music study into other subject areas. Classes are designed to develop: tone production, technical skills, intonation, music reading skills, listening skills, analyzing music, and studying historically significant literature.
