Course Description: The purpose of this course is to provide instruction in beginning dance techniques including such dance forms as ballet, modern, ethnic, jazz, tap and others. Students learn the proper body mechanics for the prescribed dance movements, develop partneringskills, perform in groups, and develop a personal aesthetic quality of movement.
